Responding to FAIR's "Rebuttal"
FAIR made a weak attempt to "rebut" my video about the lies of LDS apostles. I thought it would be fun to highlight how bad they are at what they do, and how much they lie to do it.
Here's the response to the tweet arguing that Joseph Fielding Smith didn't hide the 1832 first vision account. www.reddit.com/r/mormon/comments/ssm17y/did_joseph_fielding_smith_hide_the_1832_first/

I get accused so frequently of running this channel for money, fame, attention, "destroying the church," or other ulterior motives that I decided to make this response video so I don't have to type out the same response over and over. Sorry that it's nothing exciting. I just wanted to have it on hand.

Ask an Apostle: Is being gay a choice?
Просмотров 3,6 тыс.2 года назад
For as long as the church has taken its stand on homosexuality, (largely after the lavender scare in 1950) the question of nature or nurture has remained. Did God make his children gay, or did they sinfully choose it? Were they born with it or did they "catch" it from someone else? There is still confusion on this topic in the church due to overconfident yet contradictory messaging. The current...

On November 12th, 2021, at the University of Virginia School of Law, Dallin H. Oaks told a brazen lie about his involvement with BYU's conversion therapy program as president of BYU. Russel M. Nelson recently called racist individuals to repentance while also condemning violent protests. Response to "A Face to Face Event with Elder Cook" and "Saints" 9/9/2018
Просмотров 33 тыс.5 лет назад
The LDS church has recently made efforts to introduce a new narrative of their history that better reflects the full picture. While "Saints" is a step forward in that regard, it unfortunately fails to correct the simplistic rose-colored view of the past that has been portrayed for decades. I will explain why as I respond to the church's recent broadcast to young adults.
Man Removed from LDS Chapel for Encouraging Parents to Protect Their Children

Current policy allows LDS bishops to have one-on-one interviews with minors in which they discuss the child's sexual activities in detail. This can be very traumatizing for children, who often don't know what they are being asked, and who feel deep shame and embarrassment if they do know. This policy also facilitates grooming and sexual abuse by predators who become bishops. We call upon LDS le...

I'm an active member of the LDS Church for nearly 40 years now and I see no problem in my Church all these years! But you know what's strange are those people outside of my Church who think they know more about my Church! They talk evil against my Church and think that they just can get away with it! By the way, I have served in many high callings in my Church and has been a Catholic priest before I became a member of the LDS Church. 😊

One living in poverty with her husband and kids, the church constantly makes sure they pay their tithin. Meanwhile there are times that they have no food at home. The church is messed up thinking they are more important than a starving family with young children 🤦‍♀️

When I saw the South Park episode about Mormons in 2004, I was stunned. I didn’t believe it. There was no way Joseph used a hat in a rock to translate the Book of Mormon. Then I found out it was true, and I felt like a complete fool for not knowing my own church’s history, while the guys at South Park did know it. It took a long time for me to understand that it wasn’t completely my fault; I didn’t know, because church leadership wanted it that way. Anyway, that wasn’t the first issue I put in a box and set to the side, it was one of many boxes. I met with my bishop last week and told him I do not believe in Joseph Smith as a prophet and I don’t believe in the temple endowment and I’m not going to pay tithing anymore. And I’m very glad to have found this channel. I absolutely love that it’s straight fact, spitting fire.

8:00 Old Testament God did not condone any if those things, he did destroy cities sacrificing their own babies. This is one thing I don’t get about you atheists, you say God is unjust allowing so much suffering, then when he’s just and ends evil people you call it as murder. You’re contradicting yourself.

You child of hell! I rebuke you in the name of Jesus Christ you viper, mixing a little truth in with a myriad of lies. Turn away from your filthy homosexual behavior and come unto Christ you fiend of the infernal pit! Repent lest your suffering be sore! I know with all my heart that God the Father and Jesus Christ came down from heaven and stood in the air above the young 14 year old boy Joseph, and that after introducing Christ, the Lord commanded Joseph to join none of the churches on earth, that they were all in error, and that their doctrines and creeds were an abomination in his sight, as are yours, you viper! I know with all my heart that The Book Of Mormon is the word of God, and I challenge any who read my words, to read The Book Of Mormon for themselves from cover to cover, to think about what you read, then kneel down and ask Almighty God in the name of Jesus Christ if it is true. I know that if you will do this with a sincere heart, having faith in Christ, you will know, even as I do, that it is true, I found out for myself by doing this that it is true, and that Joseph Smith therefore, is a true prophet of God because he translated it from ancient records. Now you can be a fool, just as this lying homosexual imposter is, or you can read The Book Of Mormon for yourself then find out from God through prayer if it is true. I testify that it is true and that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is true, in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen. Read Moroni 10:3-5 of The Book Of Mormon, and do as he says.
